Oh shit it was you! I knew someone on here had mentioned the Navy before, I thought for some bizarre reason it was Molecules. I'm not sure what TPU is but I would guess you're talking about barracks support, I got myself put on a working party so I spend the day working outside.

What are you doing out in SD? I'm hoping to get to go to the West Coast once I finish all my school...

Happy Cesar Chavez Day everyone!

It's 11am, I have a drink in hand, and I'm about to roll out.

Hell yes! Congrats!

In related news, I just talked to my ex and she still hasn't found a job which means she still can't afford to come get her crap out of my apartment which is keeping me from moving to another place for at least another few months (have to wait one more month if I don't put in notice by April 1, and then a two month notice means I'm here another 2 months min.). I wish I wasn't so nice sometimes. Maybe nice isn't the word...understanding.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Yeah I've been in for almost 2 years now. ****in' hate it. Can't wait to get out. TPU is Temporary Personnel Unit, normally a bunch of extra bodies waiting to class or waiting on orders. They normally have you doing various BS tasks around the base. Cleaning, landscaping etc.

I'm working doing security clearances. Coming up for orders in a few weeks, so we'll see where I'll be spending the next 3 years of my life. I would definitely recommend San Diego. Although you are probably an aviation rate since you're in P-cola. You will surely end up on a carrier, or even worse, a Pre-comm.

Yeah, I'm in TPU then, that's exactly what I'm doing. I am aviation, 99% I'll be on a carrier. Anywhere other than Oceana or Norfolk is good, but I'm hoping West Coast. Definitely trying to get the **** away from Virginia.

I had a good day today. Do you ever worry that you'll run out of music to listen to? I sure as hell don't. I'm seriously thinking about scrapping my entire library and starting over because I have a lot of stuff I don't like that much, just keep the albums that I've bought and enjoy. Everything else can be redownloaded if I feel the need. The problem is, internet is very very slow here. It would take me ages to get a decent amount of music back... but then again I have a lot of time and want to save some money.
