New new glasses are good, especially the "new" pair just didn't suit...

Kindca rfeminds me I need to get thwe hinges on my glasses tightened, lest they fall apart on me at some inconvenient time or situation...

Yeah it would seriously blow if I couldn't see properly for one of my super long work days.... ughhh.... the headache would be horrendous...

Arya Stark 01-16-2010 10:37 PM

I know how that is.
It's horrible.

I went to see Avatar last night, I no longer wish to be human, and I want to live on Pandora. Those 3D glasses gave me a right bad headache throughout the film, as soon as I was out the pictures my headache was gone. I think the headache was due to one long sighted eye and one short sighted one. I dunno though.

You have two eyes with completely different issues too! Yay! I'm not alone in the world! I have one eye that is functionally blind.... (it can see things but they are so blurry it just makes basic shapes and contrasts, can pick up colors, etc, while the other is short sighted... I wear glasses with two radically different lens curves.... one is as thick as the side of a house and the other relatively normal...

Depth perception can sometimes be a problem... its funny... I can do unexplainable **** like walking into the corner of a door frame...

Still I've never had a car accident in fifteen years of having a license!

Lateralus has the exact same problem as me too! :)

scottsy 01-17-2010 10:02 AM

That is kinda comforting... that's three continents worth of left/right eye issues, now i most definitely don't feel so alone in the world!

FETCHER. 01-17-2010 10:04 AM

3 continents? I thought you were English, right until there. I googled your location and it turns out you're american. I didn't even assume you were english from your location haha.

scottsy 01-17-2010 10:50 AM

Ahhhh, but it's even more complicated than that...hehehehe...

I'm actually fullblooded Australian, and I moved to the US when I married my American wife...

My Dad is German too!
