Today my flatmates and I put up our Christmas tree. Which consisted of finding twigs in our backyard:

I saw Paranormal Activity again tonight but this time at the cinema as oppose to on pirate. Immeasurably scarier viewing experience and the end of the official release (instead of the sh!itty pirate version wherein she just sits rocking before getting shot) chilled me to the core. One of my mates screamed like a little girl, truely amazing.

Well apparently the ending which you spilled the beans about, the one where she gets shot, is the one that was originally shown at Screamfest and other original showings of it. I haven't seen that ending, but I can't decide whether I'd like it better than the original ending. From what I've heard it sounds better than the ending which is showing at cinemas now.

Anyway yeah, I saw it, I was absolutely terrified and watched the entire thing from peaking out underneath my jumper. I also screamed and jumped various times and made my flatmate sleep with me in my room that night. I am terrible when it comes to scary movies

Having seen both i can without hesitation say that the ending showing in British cinemas is head and shoulders above the one i saw on pirate. I felt distinctly fobbed off with the first one, after an hour and half of some pretty chilling stuff i was left thinking 'why the hell did they have to shoot her for? Silly Americans'.

In comparison the one i saw tonight sent shivers up my spine. Because i knew it was going to be different to the one i saw originally i had my legs up on the seat so as my knees were in my face (i'm such a pansy it's unreal), but i put them down thinking nothing was going to happen and BAM, i almost sh!t my pants. it's not quite as scary as the ending to Rec but it still managed to do me in.

Arent they showing different cuts of it in different countries? Could it not be possible that you have just ruined the ending for some people depending on where they are?

I'm choking to see this now, I'm a big pansy also, but I love the feeling you get in horror movies
