Horror Writing Competition: Voting

How do you guys feel about everyone just posting their stories themselves on the 4th of July, instead of doing the whole PM anonymous thing?

And Trollheart, even if your story is amazing and scary as hell, I don't know if there are any members on MB other than myself who'd be up for reading a twenty page story in a contest like this. After all, this is the website where more than three paragraphs = "TL;DR".

I *sniff* even tried so hard *sniff* to create an abridged version of the full story *sniff* so we could all have a good time and enjoy it together *sniff*

Don't worry about it, Mondo. As long as it's 40,000 or less, than it's good to go.

Edit: I thought about getting rid of the max length, but it's probably for the best that we keep it. I want all the stories to be posted directly in the thread, so that there aren't any problems with users being unable to read a story because of issues with the host site, and stories in the thread being bigger than just one or two posts in size would be kinda unwieldy.

Yeah but mine is in fact (now that I check) 29 pages, total of approx 95000 characters with spaces and 77000 without.

What the ****ing ****?? When I try to quote Ori's last post I keep getting a different one! Anyway, yeah, sounds good to me. Mine will obviously be a link.
It's pretty much ready to go.
