Or try to write the scariest thing you can every time you get really drunk then string them all together. We'd probably call you some kind of genius.

Brilliant. Wait, what are we talking about?

And then you can't tell if you're writing it or you're being written.

Every writing competition, people bitch and moan about rules, and themes, and so on, and then don't even participate in the end. I'm just putting it out there that I hope you guys participate, even though it's doubtful there will be more than one or two stories in the end. You guys know what to do, and you have a deadline. Get cracking.
I really want to but I doubt I'll get my ass in gear in time.
Could be fun though.
And terrible.

I don't have the same brain I had 30 years ago. I guess I could give it a try. I've had an idea for a cool horror story floating around in my brain for a long time.
Sounds like a great premise for a horror story!

Oh, and I would submit Waiting For That Day but it's way too long. I mean, 40K words, meh, maybe, but 40K characters? Far too short, sorry. Could they not be linked rather than posted? (Mine is over 20 pages long though...)

Here's an excerpt from mine.

Quote:
He is a very scary man. A very very scary man. This man is so scary that he scares me because he's scary.

Plagiarist! I wrote something identical only three minutes ago. No, NOT after seeing yours! Prove it!
