I am wondering what peoples opinions are with respect to the UFO phenomenon?

I suppose I will also start this discussion with the following:

In the spring of 2013, 40 witnesses from around the world including Apollo 14 Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer along with military personnel, intelligence personnel, defense contractors, government officials, physicists, historians, lawyers and researchers who testified before former members of the Senate and House about the reality of the UFO phenomenon.

Why has there never been a piece of hard (ie. not anecdotal) evidence?

It's true, some flying objects are unidentified.

Sorry, I was just high out of my mind.

I have no idea what the **** that thing there in the sky is, so it's probably an alien spaceship from a society bent on taking over our world and enslaving the human race.

In a day where literally everything is recorded by somebody, the fact that there is not a lot of hard evidence, especially recently, is proof enough for me that 99% of all UFO sightings are bullsh*t.

The only real freaky event that left me with no answers was the Pheonix Lights incident in the 90s.

I thought the fourth kind was inspired by real life events, does that answer your question?

Or it could be a weather balloon. Or Batty's ego having broken free...
