are u talking about a bar for the curls? or dumbells. because i know that you werent donig 40 pound dumbell curls in 7th grade.

8 pound dumbells should be fine for doing some curls. flys. shoulder presses and stuff like that. do about 12-15 reps and you should be good.

Man, I'm so happy I never had to deal with this when I was in seventh grade way back 4 years ago, I just try to make friends with everyone. It's gotta work because I've never been in a fight...yeah!
