You're in 7th grade. You're too young to lift, plus it takes about 2 months of a good work out program to be cut. Bullies don't usually pick on you because of physical weakness it's all about your persona.
Some simple steps to be less bullied:
-When walking stand confidently
-If the bully is near you, don't ignore him. Talk to him.
-Make sure that if he is making eye contact, you can stare back
-If you act like he's going to bully you, he will. If you act friendly and confident he won't.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. The best way to defeat a bully is to let em' no your not afraid of him.

Lol yeah 50 pounds on bench press is impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SATCHMO 07-22-2005 09:30 PM

Its a good rule of thumb that everybody "should" be able to bench press there own weight at least once.

If the kid wants to beat you up, he's going to beat you up. Since you're getting beaten up anyway you may as well fight back. What's the worst that's going to happen? He beats you up some more? Hurt him once and he'll think twice about beating you up again.

What the others have said about confidence and persona is true, but its a little too late for that now. You don't have to lift weights or anything like that, just try to hurt him, and really mean it. Kick him in the bollox and poke him in they eyes if you have to, just make him realise you're willing to stick up for yourself. You'll gain a huge amount of confidence too, which should stop anybody else from picking on you as well.
