Little help with Spotify?
 
Any of you guys use Spotify on your phone/ipad/tablet etc? I have it on mine but it will only allow Shuffle play, says if I want to turn it off I need to go Premium. I AM Premium, so what's the problem? I can use it fine on my PC but on the phone, no go. I've read about how you can turn it off on iphone, but nothing for Android.

Any ideas?

Also if your delinquent in your bill you can only shuffle play. .....Thats what I heard.;)

Yeah, doesn't work. All it does is bring up a "Go premium!" screen. I've tried holding down the shuffle key, tapping it, everything. No dice. And my PC one works fine so there's no problem with that.

Do you have your Spotify account connected to your phone or are you just using the free app part?

This is an interesting question. I think the latter, though it is logged in. Should I be doing something other than that?

Ah forget that one, for some reason I remembered getting the app to play without logging in before but I just tried it and you have to login. Is try checking under account to see if your subscription status says premium on your phone or if there's a mix up. I'd also try resetting the app and phone itself. If you still have problems it may be a job to call support about.

I can't see any way to check my account status via the phone. Settings on Spotify does not give it to me. I've logged out and back in, but still no dice. Also rebooted the phone. Maybe I should uninstall the app and see if there's an updated version, in case this is a bug?

Edit: No, didn't help. Just did the very same thing. :(

What type of phone is this? On my iPhone I can see my subscription status by going into my settings and clicking on account.
