Bat and Frown know what's up. I don't know if it's the likeness to common house cats or the library books I checked out as a youngster, but cheetahs are just ****ing cool to me. A few years ago the local zoo built a cheetah exhibit, and although I don't really like to patronize zoos, I succumbed. They're pretty small up close. I remember a few docs mentioning how they aren't really proficient as predators, as they expend a lot of energy in the chase and can't really fight off other ******* animals that try to poach their meal.
