People use it as an excuse.. and sometimes it really is an excuse. But a lot of times it's just ignorant bs and a complete lack of self accountability.

It's generally used when people can't defend their position and they need a cop out. Of course that **** exists but it's not the endgame of every discussion vaguely regarding race.
