I used to field strip them, then throw the filter/butt in my pack to discard at a later time, instead of throwing them on the ground, I've just neglected the discarding at a later time part.

I feel I need to mention that the "Rush Ticket" in my BP is a $300 37th row, just left of center printed ticket for Rush coming up on the 12th of this month.
