When you don't have a car it doesn't make much sense but it's better than walking.

Well I don't have a backpack per se, (rut sacks don't count because I don't use it every day but I always have my utility built (crap container) and generally my cruiser so:

Belt
Side Arm w/ clip in;
Extra clip of ammo;
Assorted keys;
Pepper spray;
Taser;
Two pairs of handcuffs;
Collapsible baton;
Flashlight

Pockets
Pocket knife/Leatherman;
Phone;
Wallet;
Chapstick

Cruiser
M16A1;
Riot gear (Helmet, shield, bullet proof vest);
Various traffic direction signs (Ex. Gate Closed, Stay Alert, Be Prepared to Stop etc);
Flare gun & flares;
Case of water;
Emergency road side kit;
First aid kit;
12 Gauge Shot gun;
Slug shot, beanbag rounds;
Duct tape;
Various screw drivers/pliers/assorted tools;

No no Fiddler is prepared. I forgot to mention the couple of MREs I have stashed SOMEWHERE in the cruiser. Pretty sure they're ten years old, though. They've always been there.
