Yes, the Chinese terraces are an extraordinary acheivement. Out of curiosity, I found some images of how these two landmarks look to the guy at ground level:
...and at last, I think I can honestly vote against the Grand Canyon; it's grand, but all that rock is rather boring and inhospitable. I´d much rather walk through the beautiful green meanders of Yuan. Apologies to fiddler, but Go Chinese!! Not so Grand Canyon: 5 Monument to Chinese endeavour: 3
