And i'd hardly consider grunge much of a genre, even if I would. The first wave could arguably be good (nirvana, pearl jam, soundgarden all that) but all the crap like Puddle Of Mud and I don't even remember any bands really because I don't pay attention to them, but you know what i'm talking about all that post-grunge crap. Rap has had more influence on music, no question about that and it will continue to while grunge won't.
