Default Anyone run linux?

So, I just bought a new laptop, so it's time for me to do a new install of linux. I run arch, because it's pretentious as ****, and also because I dig the nuts and bolts nature of the distro

Does anyone else use some form of linux? Thoughts?

I'd say talk to Freebase, our resident IT expert. Also, maybe post here (look up) http://www.musicbanter.com/lounge/43...rt-thread.html

I've dabbled in Linux but moved back to Windows in 2013 when I got back into PC gaming. During my time with it though I alternated between Ubuntu, Mint, Manjaro, ArchBang, and CrunchBang. I managed to create an Arch install in VirtualBox but could never get it to work on my main PC because of networking issues.

It was a pretty interesting experience all things considered, but I'm glad I decided to learn it in an era of Google and YouTube because otherwise it would have been quite difficult. There was always a real sense of satisfaction when I got something to work like connecting a wireless printer, or getting a game to run. A part of me would like to go back, but I put a lot of money into my current PC for the purpose of gaming and I don't want to go through the hassle of getting everything to work the way I want to.

I've used Ubuntu to recover some files off of a WinPC when it crashed. Other than that not much else.

Lubuntu is cool. Certainly, Windows could learn a thing or two from it.
