Just a pumped up body builder in a bat suit lol

He had none, which is why he's the greatest superhero.

Alright, who voted for Aquaman? If you're not gonna take this seriously then go someplace else.

Batman having 5 votes is way worse. Seriously the dude isn't even a super hero. He's a normal rich guy with writers that hand him the win. If any of this was real, Batman would get his ass kicked by every real super hero. Trash.

I can't really discuss this with people who didn't spend years of their childhoods (which would have had to be in the 80s) going to a comic book store once a week and spending every bit of their lunch money on comics for years. Definitely can't lower myself to argue about how good ****ing Batman is with people who only know any of these superheroes from recent movies. I guess if I would vote on this poll it'd be for Rogue, but I won't. Maybe Ant Man (Hank Pym not Paul Rudd) partially b/c I like super intelligent heroes - like ****ing Batman.

I used to have a real affinity for a superhero called Cypher. He was a teenage member of The New Mutants, and everybody pretty much didn't like him or thought his power was super stupid but I thought it was great. He could read any language. That's it. Marvel even killed him off he was so dull. But I used to fantasize as a kid about how great life would be if I could do that. On top of being able to read any written language fluently & automatically, you'd be the best hacker in the world and so could have anything you ever wanted, and even sort of have telepathy b/c you can read body language.

"If any of this was real"

Just re-read that sentence lol

Batman is written so that he is superhumanly competent, and Superman is written so that he is superhumanly powerful. So wut?

Ohhhhh very well put

No, as previously pointed out, Batman wins via Deus Ex Machina.. He's garbage. He's a regular person, he's not enhanced. The things he does are nonsense considering what he actually is. He's about as interesting as the last 5 minutes of every episode of CSI where they suddenly find the murderer and all the evidence.

Rather the story is fiction or not, it's written in terms of real world physics, and the shit he pulls off is contradictory to the world he lives in. Batman is just that hero that everyone thinks they can be because he's a "regular guy". Fuck him, he's lame.

Well to be fair, how is any super powered hero any more interesting than the CSI wrap up? Batman is interesting because he is a regular human who maxed out his human potential. Given enough time and motivation, we could ALL be Batman. Yet nobody is. That's pretty interesting.

Hey quick editor. I'm not sure what you said is true but I'm certain it doesn't matter. I'm not seeing the connection, how does any of that make him lame? Look at me defending ****ing Batman :p:
