Maybe he's gone for good, maybe he'll be back, but all I know is he will be missed. If he's lurking, maybe reading this will make him smile, groan, explode in incandescent rage, or, as he mentioned in one of his last thread, **** his pants. Either way, post your memories of the guy. He did so much for the site, virtually (as I understand it) kept it together and I know he certainly helped me to a better understanding of what is and isn't acceptable here, and how to fit in better (still working on that).

Reminds me of a line from one of my favourite TV shows: "When I first came here there was a fat old bastard sat in a chair mouthing platitudes. And I'm still here."

If nothing else, he deserves a good send-off, and everyone from those of us here for years to newbies of a few weeks are likely to have crossed paths with him (many of us survived!) so let it all out people!
