I think at this point Ori has gotten even more annoying than the two people that started this

Which is impressive, bravo

^ He exclaimed right when things were starting to wind down again.

Seriously, you say you hate me, yet you keep coming back. Jesus, if you're going to try to insult me, at least make it fun to read. Try throwing in a comparison to nazis next time.

I don't hate you, I think youre pretty cool most of the time

I just don't know why you made yourself self-appointed mediator of a discussion you clearly have no intention to participate in, and then that you hypocritical defend two people voicing their opinion while condemning two other people for voicing an opposite opinion. You won't acknowledge that TH and I have a point AT ALL or justification for being outraged when he most certainly do on both accounts.

That's actually a good idea, but nobody in my family has a name cool enough to be passed down. It's cute that your name and her middle name both came from her grandmother, though.

I have a question for you. Why do you feel the need to start all of this up again? I've already invited you to send me a PM, and it makes sense to take that advice; you have criticisms against me, so why not send them to me directly, rather than force everyone else to have to dredge through them? If you choose not to send me a PM, then fine. It's all good. That's your choice. But if that's the case, then it's my decision to longer read your posts directed towards me, because at that point they are obviously more about making a public spectacle than actually having a discussion with me. When Roxy and I were fighting, we eventually took it to PMs, and now we get along just fine. It works if you give it a shot, but if you don't, then we'll just keep going in circles.

You started this campaign against me in public and it's going to be finished in public, and since clearly at this point you're more interested in dancing around the subject like a coward and trying to make everything about sunshine and rainbows rather than acknowledge the reality that some people were seriously pissed off recently and still need time to vent...I'd say it's probably now over between you and I.

OK, that's it guys. I've said me piece and I'm not responding to any further drama, though it looks like you're getting this back on track, for which my thanks Orph.

I explained why I created the thread and what I wanted it to encompass, so let's just get back to that and leave the drama behind.

Plankton, I disagree but respect the fact that you posted. I will hope (hope) that we see less nasty messages in posts from Lil, now that she knows it infuriates at least me, but if not then all I'll do is put her on Ignore. I can live without her drunken rambles anyway, don't think I'll be missing too much. But I hope it won't come to that, as I prefer not to have to go down that road.

Anyhoo, back on-topic.

The funny thing about this is, I am terrible with children. I mean, terrible. I feel awkward around them, never know what to say and feel they pick up on that. I'm not one of these who can be cool around kids, and if I'm honest I prefer not to be around them, but as I said there's no nicer sound than young girls laughing and playing shop or boys and girls chasing or whatever. I love it when they come to the door for sponsorship, and often ask "How many cats do you have?" Sometimes they want to come in and I have to say no, the cats are having their dinner, and I always imagine they see my three cats sitting at a table with knives and forks, discussing the business of the day among each other, or reading the newspaper.

But yeah, I could never deal with kids as a parent: I would not have the patience. I am consistently in awe, however, of those who are able not only to do so, but to make it seem like it's no big thing, which I know it certainly is.

Cos a) I'm ugly (well, certainly no catch) and b) I have no girlfriend, nor ever likely to as my sister is my world until she or I die, and you could not in fairness expect any woman to play second fiddle to that.

On a scale of 1 to 10? About a Googleplex! Bet she loved that!

It can be a thing. Especially when they're sick and need medical attention. Which hasn't happened all that often, but when it did... well, you know how I can get. At least I think you do.
I think you misread that. I meant, people who are parents can make it seem like it's no big deal, they do this every day and have got used to it, when I know that it can be very draining and require all your attention and time. It was a compliment of course, but I think your post above shows that you thought I was saying something else?

No, I didn't misread it. I was just showing you what a rough spot was like for me. The rest was easy, as you say, but then again I had a great little person to teach, love, and live my life with.
