Right now, she's being much more courteous than you are; learn from her example.

Seriously, why are you still talking to me? Lis is right over there. If you have something to say to her, go for it.
I'm not taking potshots at anybody. I don't care if my best friend in the world says what they said, I'm going to make it known that I think such a view is nauseating. It's perhaps the worst thing I've ever heard out of otherwise respectable people

idk what else you want me to say. I absolutely will not talk to them about it, in fact even passively skimming over their comments is ruining my mood and my entire day. YOU might be this perfect person who's capable of talking or reasoning with someone who goes sooooooo incredibly far against what you love and represent but I am not that person and I am not afraid to admit it

kind of ironic coming from you though, after you made that big spiel in the riot thread about people acting like wild animals

not that i have any sort of beef with you but i hope you can at least appreciate some of the irony there

but i do like how you signed off on my pov even though i made an insensitive side jab at the developmentally challenged

overall though i was basically just being contrarian to you being contrarian cause i'm just sort of bored lately and searching desperately for entertainment

i don't actually categorically dislike children, in reality it depends on the kid. some of my cousins are entertaining to an extent. but i might just favor them subconsciously since i have some slight number of shares in their genetic stock. i think its pretty likely that if i slipped up and created a life that my pov would change to a more romanticized version like plank or chula have

It's going to be really awkward when Trollheart comes back, and gazes upon the ashes of his thread. So, I guess I'll preemptively leave a message...

Hey Trollheart! Welcome back! Sorry, I guess?

Back on topic, I think I'd like to be a parent one day. Right now, though, i'm definitely not ready for the responsibility.

But what if i'm at a party, and they start playing that newfangled Rock and Roll music? To not instantly start copulating with the hosts would just be rude.

for me its got more to do with monogamy/marriage than kids themselves which makes me reluctant to be a parent

or more specifically the prospect of managing the 2 projects simultaneously

sounds complicated and difficult to me and i'm just so impulsive and borderline irresponsible at times (though i've been gradually trying to move away from that behavioral trend as i get older) that i don't trust myself to pull it off the right way

I don't see the irony there at all. On one hand we have children, on the other hand we have fully grown adults going on nonsensical destructive rampages. The adults have full control over their actions

i disagree, regarding your ranking

elderly have a sort of charm to them that you can't really hate them cause they're survivors and they're just trying to keep it up, but at the same time when i'm not interacting with them directly they can annoy me by wandering around aimlessly and getting in my way and being completely oblivious to that fact. they have a lot of the same traits that make kids a nuisance sometimes tbh.

right, so developmental psychology must not have had any influence on the behavior of those fully grown adults. gotcha.
