Naw I was just joking. You weren't being a jerk and I wasn't being sensitive, I don't have strong feelings one way or the other about kids. I do like good baby clothes though. If I had one it would be stylish but once it got old enough to choose its own clothes I would probably lose interest. I'd be like one of those people who buy a bunny around Easter and then not want it anymore after a few months and try to give it to a rabbit rescue. If nobody would take it I'd do the responsible thing and take care of the rabbit for however long rabbits live but I would resent it and harbor anger towards it which would really just be an expression of anger at myself for buying the damn thing.

Is there any treatment, or is this just something you have to put up with? Sounds pretty horrible. My heart goes out to you, princess...

I don't believe baby outfits were ever mentioned.
And y'all have nothing on this baby...

I know, I was just trying to make light of that incredibly awkward statement. Engine got it.

Bad wording on my part. He is a real test of my patience a lot of times. Constantly have to remind myself of his limitations.

I don't envy your situation in the slightest, but my hats off to you for being the kind of father that is willing to put in the extra.

I agree.

I love children and have always had really strong maternal instincts. I recall even as a child myself, when I was in kindergarten, having very nurturing and protective feelings toward my classmates.

I’m a single mother -- have a grown daughter who is 23 and a son who is 11. The interesting thing is, my daughter works with autistic children on a daily basis and we have occasionally discussed whether she wants children of her own (in the future). She says she does not want children because she is very devoted to her career and claims to be perhaps “too selfish” to have her own children. I tell her I think the opposite is the case, given her choice of career.

Seriously? I thought you were much younger than that! You certainly write younger.

Well that's a backhanded compliment. Good job, TH.

Yeah yeah! What would you know about compliments? Surely if you say "you look younger than that" or "you sound younger" it's a compliment, and ribbons knows what I mean I'm sure. I just always thought she was like 17 or something.

Also, go away. Did you read my thoughts on Darkthrone yet? More to the point, did you see I "liked" it more than a prog album Frownland threw at me?

"You're 42? Seriously? You sound like a high school kid. Maybe you should grow up or something."
