Urban Legends.

I am curious to hear from our other posters, in different parts of the world.

Do you guys have cautionary semi creepy tales told to you, that may in fact be rooted in an actual events or is this solely an American thing?

Also my countrymen and women, I always love hearing ones I haven't heard.

Some of the ones I have heard

Man with hook:check
Baby in microwave: check
Razors in apples on Halloween :check
Babysitter getting phone calls from inside the house. :check
Killer kills everyone and hides under your bed all night licking your hand
: check.
