Don't remember anyone using the terms wife or husband when talking about significant others.

May 28th will mark 32 years for Linda and I.

Got married in a back yard by a JOP and had our reception at a Legion hall. Did the entire thing for $1,000. Family pitched cooking and a buddy of mine DJ'd for the first and only time in his life.
