Yet to be identified? If it was man-made, at one time it was identified.

Pretty cool raw space footage. Sorta scares me when the (slinky?) comes off. Starts 1 minute in.

Yes, but in its current predicament, it has yet to be properly identified.

Wikipedia suggests it might be a thermal blanket and it does look like it has a flat, bent shape, so that could be a good suggestion.

^ reminds me of that NPR interview Terry Gross did with an astronaut who, while in the middle of a spacewalk, had some kind of eye irration and was basically blinded by his own tears. Gravity 2?
