What about "babe"? I only ever hear couples call each other babe anymore, but no one ever uses it to point out a hot chick. I want to keep that word alive.

MB babes: Roxy, Vanilla, WWWP, Carpe, Briks. Everyone else is an uggo.

With our move away from assigned gendered roles, I reckon 50 years from now we could be looking at, at least in the developed world, the eradication of words that assume behavior because of one's gender.

babe is one of the cringiest words if you ask me. reminds me of Fern Gully when the guy is trying to hit on the fairy thing by calling her a bodacious babe. just greasy.

batlord is fine to use it tho. fits his style and id imagine he says bodacious too

Yeah! That's right Batlord! You and the word babe deserve each other.

Yeah, I kind of mean in the audio sense. You ask a kid growing up now in 20/30 years time what a record is, chances are they won't know.

This better not happen. Remember "The Time Machine"? Learn, people! Learn! From the mistakes of the, uh, future... (see note below also)

That's your own fault for watching it. I have no sympathy for you. None.

(Note: How funny is it that when writing the word mistakes I misspelled it three times, making three errors? Yeah I thought so: not very funny at all really...)

The Time Machine is excellent, but I really just meant, like, physical paper books. I hope books in general never die out too!

Not if I can help it.

I don't think that many people read ebooks, do they? I don't really know many.

You know, it was big for a while, but....
I read some stuff digitally, but I can't really do it if I'm trying to connect with a novel. I have no problem with using it for, like, technical texts and whatnot.
