As a naturally soft-spoken individual, I'm always perplexed by people that are naturally so boisterous and loud that they're able to steal any spotlight this social world has to offer.

I blame alot sh*t i say on being High or foreign but honestly, i know better most of the time.
i function more by my moods, some days i feel obnoxiously optimistic other days im a cynical bastard.

i don't really crave any spotlight but neither do i like being ignored so im somewhat in the middle of those 2.

apparently to Carpe im not mean enough or quiet enough cause she basically thinks im a talkative suck up (as im sure you other cool kids do) but i honestly don't know how to be different so you folks are just gonna have to deal with it.

Usually pretty loud and unfiltered when I'm with friends. Quite soft spoken and weary of word choice when I'm in a professional environment or meeting new folks.

I have a commanding voice.Always have.Two volumes loud,and louder.
As far as being the boystorus one that has the spotlight no.Im very quiet until I know the person.
At parties Im a wall flower.Until inevitably the drunk loud crying chick needs to be escorted out and spoken with. Then Im a valued commodity, therapist,and bouncer.All it takes from me to remove said chick,is a stare and two words..."Get up."

I think my soft spokedness is helpful during shows where I'm playing really loud because it catches the audience by surprise.

I actually feel a stronger connection with people when I'm not talking to them, if that makes sense. I'd like to think I'm good at communicating without words.

Body language is a very real thing. I have studied humans most of my life and have recognized select few, that I'm very sure have used being loud/obnoxious/silly to be a defense mechanism.

I'm a pro at avoiding hangovers. Hydration is key.

both, really, I just wish I knew what kind of person I really am, sober, clean.

I know someone who's gone totally clean from everything that ever interrupted his life and he's just... oh beyond delightful.... but I wonder if I'm like that, if something within me is so much better than the alcoholic or the drug addict or whatever, I mean just... wow, y'know...

You have to get over the being a miserable wreck before you turn into the beyond delightful.

as far as I know, the person I mentioned is quite self-deprecating as a natural thing but seems to be the favorite of so many people, it just makes me sick, how is that even possible, to be so lovely, so beautiful, yet so dangerous, so sick to the touch

ive had this convo with people before. I would consider myself shy, but I know people that know me don't. I think it depends on the situation but if im around a bunch of louder people I generally wont try and compete with that, if im around a bunch of quiet shy people ill take it upon myself to speak up. I do like meeting new people and public speaking generally.

I'm definitely not loud but I'm definitely not quiet. I don't typically initiate conversations with people I don't know, but once the ball's rolling I can connect with pretty much anyone if my crippling self-doubt doesn't interfere.
