I'm joining this site in an attempt in distancing myself from snobbery, and so far I've seen a lot less here than elsewhere.

I recently heard TB say something that put things in perspective for me:

"Elitist is what people who don't have any standards call the ones that do.."

If im honest i am bit of a musical snob..
more so irl than in here but i try not to personally judge ppl instead i try to judge the band itself.. if ppl are too attached to them i'll most likely offend them but if not, we just agree to disagree with little snobbery involved, exmp

Me + Linkin park = Hate
Ki + Linkin park = like
Me + Ki = we cool

Personality > Taste

Pretty much what I was getting at as well. You've gotta have a bit of snobiness when discussing music. Its what brings the discussion.
