I had my younger sister's back for sure. Threw down on a couple of occasions on her behalf.

Well I couldn't really do that, being such a skinny jerk and all, but I did make sure she was a bridesmaid at my youngest brother's wedding. His wife-to-be had decided she had three sisters who all wanted to be b/m and so my sister could not be one. This would be her only shot at it really, though we didn't know that: at the time my other brother married she was about to be diagnosed and was very unsteady on her feet, not b/m material at all. And as for me ever getting married...
So anyway... I refused to be the brother's groomsman if she did not get to be a bridesmaid. Petty? Maybe. But I felt that as our family would be so poorly represented at the wedding (just me as groomsman, other brother not asked, mother dead, father not dead) it was little to ask, and sure every girl wants to be a bridesmaid don't she? Anyway I fought my corner till they gave in and she was let be one of the bridesmaids. I reminded her about it some little while ago (just came up) and she said she hadn't even realised that I was fighting her corner. Guess I kept it on the d/l from her...
