I used to get all my sisters dolls and hold summery executions on the top floor window ledge.

I once convinced my younger sister to do a somersault off of a tall chest of drawers onto a mattress. She knocked the wind out of herself so bad I thought she was going to die.

During my last visit back east we were partying and the story came up. We both nearly pissed ourselves laughing about it.

My older sister was mad at me once and waited all day until we were sliding the dining table back together and she slammed it while my finger was between sections.

It was a two way street at my house when I was young.

I feel like my childhood was deprived since I didn't have younger siblings. How many other people on Earth can you think of who would be as suited to tormenting a small child?

Not sure why but the first thing that flashed into my head was that discussion about sex offenders recently...

The flaw in your logic is that Elcaset (late 1970's) post dates open reel recorders by DECADES

Hoped you weren't going to catch that. I think I bought that RTR in about 1977.

Maybe that's when you bought yours but high-end open real recorders, especially Ampex, were available as early as the 50's. Elcaset was available in 1977.

I have to say, I was pretty much always my sister's protector. Well, she was the baby.
My brothers now, on the other hand...
