I personally think you have to be a really boring person to not enjoy travelling.
The Netherlands is the prettiest place I have been. Amsterdam is picturesque, and the countryside is idyllic. I love travelling within my own country too. The Scottish Highlands are glorious. |

Tie between Mount Baker National Park in Washington state and Prague, Czech Republic.
I've also been to Germany, Nevada, Arizona, California, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Quebec, and British Columbia. Notable landmarks viewed include the Grand Canyon, Seattle's Museum of Flight, USS New Jersey, RMS Queen Mary, Terezin concentration camp, and the Brandenburg Gate. Best airline I've been on is Lufthansa.

I've had the best experiences with Southwest Airlines compared to all the others I've flown on over the years, so they got my vote.
As for beauty, I've seen ugliness, blandness, and beauty everywhere I've been. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder (as the saying goes.) I've been to various parts of England, Scotland, Wales, The Netherlands, Canada, and 38 of the 50 US states and driven across the US from coast to coast and up and down the East Coast from Maine to Florida. All of those places except for Canada, I've visited multiple times. It's a tough call, but if I have to pick only one of those places just for overall natural beauty and breathtaking scenery, I'll go with Scotland. The Scottish countryside and coastline are quite memorable to say the least. |

Yellowstone National Park was really beautiful, and Amsterdam was nice after they cleaned it up in the morning, but there was something about being up in the mountains in Germany outside of Friedburg that seemed magical.

Hard to beat Puerto Rico imo. There's something there for everyone: sick beaches, hiking in a rainforest, cool downtown places...pretty much perfect.
