assault, Rules of.
Today, at school, there was a fight, it was provoked but the 'provoking' happened 24 hours before. Also during the fight a group of people joined in, so it was about 5-1.
I know that 5 - 1 would be seen as assault but who is guilty? all of them? the 4 that joined in? Is the main person, who wanted a fair fight guilty of assault? (also my freind is being punished for filming it, is this reasonable?)

The guy filming it shouldn't be punished at all. No one is required to do anything really. You'd like to think he'd be commended for gathering evidence that is, for all intents and purposes, irrefutable.
