You can get into any community college with a GED and once you hit associate level it doesn't even matter what your HS education consisted of because college will catch you up to college level. A diploma vs a GED doesn't carry any real weight at that point, and FAFSA doesn't care which one you have AFAIK.
Once you are eligible for loans you won't have to burden your grandparents, and IDK about you but being financially responsible for my loans is kind of motivating because if you stop going you'll be in quite the bind. |

I'm confused.. You don't have a HS diploma and from what I understand your grandparents are putting out money for you to get a degree which is higher than a HS education. All I was recommending is getting a GED so you're eligible for FAFSA loans. If you don't get the GED you'll have nothing, so how is that better? What are you justifying with nothing?

O, the thread kind of went off on a tangent about college stuff and I was thinking that you got into a college without the diploma. High school level work is a cake walk, I'm sure you'll breeze through that ish. Even bachelor degree work is easy there's just more of it. It's not hard to stay motivated when the assignments take a 1/2 hour.
I mean Conan was talking about the how college students have the reading level of a 7th grader according to some new study or whatever. Also, if you need help with anything math related you can shoot me a PM or go to KhanAcademy/youtube. Good luck homie. |

Thankfully I don't have to do any math. Just English (which I have been speaking for a number of years), and Government (which I am at least as well-versed as a seventh-grader on).
