I'm trying to put links to great (i.e. embarrassing) moments in MB history in my sig, and I think it would be good to ask the forum about all of their favorite meltdowns, flame wars, comedy threads, and anything else that deserves to be recorded for posterity. I'm only interested in the best of the best. Links to threads would be great, or at least something to point people in the right direction.

Boo boo's meltdown and RockGuitar's anti-right-track thread are already noted BTW.

As far as I know, every person who has ever been banned has had their avatar automatically removed, but boo boo still has his. Why is that?

Hm. **** like boo boo banning half the forum, and Flyingpig divulging just about every detail of his sordid life are once in a blue moon events that just kind of unintentionally unfold, to the astonishment of everyone else. That was a pretty great thread, but I have limited space on my sig.

If only the whole thing with The Virgin wasn't splattered across half the forum, that would probably be pretty great to dig up.

Sweet holy ****. I got through a couple pages of that and just gave up. The last time I saw a debate that long, with that many giant posts picking apart the post above it by quoting each and every line, was on an atheist forum where people were debating whether or not knowledge was a form of belief. Riveting stuff.

I really wish I'd been a member if this forum when boo boo was still here. He seems like he'd be really easy to annoy.

I actually noticed that during my read through it tonight.

Yac's input on that little fight was so worth the read. Such a cool dude.

My favorite was probably the one that got Trollheart to put her on ignore. She went off the rails plenty of times, but she got downright incoherent that time.

Oh that one was amazing. I think there are three people I ever put on Ignore here, over nearly four years now, and one was only temporary... But she just got so full of hate and vitriol over something that was really nothing to do with her, and even backed by a few other members, that I just gave up. Like they say, don't feed 'em and they starve!

P.S. Here's the thread where jayshreddz announced that management was firing all the mods and bringing in paid scabs to restructure the site. Was epic.
