I feel like I'm looking at Martha Stewart using Happy Feet to reenact Wallace and Gromit.

Chula Vista 12-06-2014 09:23 PM

I feel like an acid flashback.

Mondo Bungle 12-06-2014 09:26 PM

Looks like cream cheese??

These are actually so cute. Maybe for Christmas!

DwnWthVwls 12-06-2014 09:46 PM

Looks like a bad appetizer. But what they lack in taste they make up for in creativity.

GuD 12-06-2014 09:51 PM

Gonna have to agree. I like olives. I like carrots. I like cream cheese. But altogether, as a single item? Meh.

Huh?

Carrot = sweet
Olive = salty acid
Cream cheese = dairy fat

I think these would taste great.

Me too.

Neapolitan 12-06-2014 10:08 PM

Are the hors d'oeuvres penguins standing on Brie or Camembert cheese?

Freebase Dali 12-06-2014 10:16 PM

Holy shit.

Neapolitan 12-06-2014 10:22 PM

I am definitely thinking about making them for the joint Thanksgiving/Christmas party at work.

Mondo Bungle 12-06-2014 11:14 PM

I really don't like cream cheese, so these would not be good for me

They might go well together but it's probably quite bland. I'm sure I'd like the flavor I just don't think it's much of a tongue tickler. It's about as appealing as veges and ranch dressing.

I didn't know you worked.

For some reason I've always imagined you having like a small little cottage, out in the woods, a little secluded. Instead of money you would just exchange coolpoints or animated emoticons for your goods and services. I'm sad that it appears that might not be the case now :(.

Trollheart 12-08-2014 04:22 AM

So you think it's all right to impale poor defenceless penguins, do ya? :yikes:
Urban may have something to say about that....

Nobody's ever had stuffed olives? wtf.

Blend the cream cheese with some minced garlic, and it's heaven in your mouth. One of the secretaries here at work makes those (she's originally from Italy). Those penguins look great but a little bit tedious to make.

GuD 12-16-2014 08:33 PM

I prefer mine stuffed with jalapeneos or just straight up garlic. Almonds are good too.
