I have a great Alphatek that's pretty much the best decently priced pocketknife I've ever used, but the clip came off and the security screws have screwdrivers that are expensive as **** so I got another knife for Christmas. The clip on that on bent on the first day that I had it lol. Decent blade but POS materials I think. Still gonna keep the Alphatek on me, probably even when I replace the new knife.

Anyway.

Looks like a baby AK47. Very cool.

I collect knives as well. I like to give them as gifts. I am in the market for a good folding serrated karambit [probably a SpyderCo] and a fully serrated Ka-Bar TDI [small Law Enforcement edition].

I have a Gerber that I've had for around 15 years. Holds an edge like a boss. I usually daily carry an assisted-flip switchblade. My favorite everyday carry was a Kershaw 1475ST, but the tip broke off after over a decade of use.

I give my female friends knives for self defense. The term "rape knife" came up during conversation. When a female says that she has a rape knife, it sounds like she uses it for self defense. However, when I say that I brought my "rape knife," well, you know . . .

I think we should call them ANTI-rape knives to avoid confusion.

Yay, let's talk weapons! There is a firearm thread floating around here somewhere.
