I thought the hook line "Christmas time is here again" was pretty good, and I found the whole thing very interesting. I like the way it blends JL's love of The Goons with a laugh at a vanishing Brit culture, á la Magical Mystery Tour.

There were actually seven Beatles Christmas records that were long singles.
Maybe they've been compiled into a single CD - don't know -
but it wouldn't surprise me because of their 44 minute total length.

Yes, the Beatles' Fan Club released the seven singles as an album in 1970. This was after the Beatles had broken up of course.

Again, I'm sure I have a boot. The original is worth a fortune.
