Thanks ribbons, same to you and yours.
Actually all I did was revive the thread; it's Cuthbert you have to thank for starting it.
Way back in 2014...

One of the best things about this album, it features Eartha Kitt singing Santa baby:

Tonight I baked an apple cake with a light fluffy cream cheese icing (with honey, orange zest and cinnamon) and chocolate chip cookies. Well, just the cookie dough-- will bake it in the morning. Cookies always turn out better if you refrigerate the dough overnight.
Tomorrow I'll (maybe) make a salted caramel sauce to drizzle over the cake along with the chopped walnuts.
Also made cold-brewed black lychee tea as well as cold brewed jasmine green tea (the latter especially is sooo good lightly sweetened & iced)

Update: she ate all the cookie dough and went to bed crying.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
