update: I ate ONLY TWO (I am a paragon of self control) pieces of cookie dough and did not go to bed till 5:30 am because all the kitties were being bad little gremlins.

Has anyone ever mailed cookies/baked goods before? Is it terribly expensive or difficult?

Yeah, a shoebox sized parcel filled with biscuits, chocolate, bovril, all sorts of British snacks, and some other stuff, to a friend in New York. Cost about £30 to post it to her I think. And she sent me a box of American things, think it was with USPS.

I don't think that's too bad, you might have to fill a form in at the place you post it, just describing what's in it. It's quite easy tbh.

my mom sent me speculaas once, which is a Dutch baked thing which you can't properly get abroad. She just made a regular parcel and sent it, no hassle. It isn't perishable or fragile though so that made it much easier, but for cookies that shouldn't be a problem either

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Three different family members got me weighted blankets. I have 60lbs of blanket on top of me. This is the most still I've ever been.
