Tom Baker and Patrick Troughton have always been my two favourite Doctor’s but David Warner would’ve challenged that from the word go. Easily one of the best British actors of his generation.

Nobody really, as Tom Baker was an extremely dominant Doctor (the most dominant ever) and with a touch of wit, extremely confident and never suffered fools Even when the stories were bad, there were a fair number in the Tom Baker years, he could easily turn things into the Tom Baker show. A great Doctor and has never been equalled since imo.

No. This is just about debating Voyager.

Ok, but don’t you think that this would be really awesome if both of you covered the whole Trek spectrum, it would be pretty epic.

The tale is oft told of how a young (shut up!) Trollheart did put forth the opinion that Voyager was rubbish, and the upstart Batlord did fain frown upon him and say "Fie upon thee! Voyager was not so bad! Thou art not worthy to listen to a Slayer album!" and Trollheart did nod wisely and spake thusly: "Any time you want to debate that, pal --- especially in a cooperative journal --- I doth be up for it!"
And thus was a legend born. Okay, thus will a legend be born, once we both getteth off our fat arses and commence worshipping the goggle box and committing yon thoughts to paper. Or computer screen, if ye will. Batty agrees (as does every sentient being on the planet) that both Next Gen and DS9 are far superior shows, so my original idea, to put one of them against Voyager, was shot down. This was the next best thing. We will debate, season by season and episode by episode, the pros and (many) cons of this here show, and see who scores the most points. All are welcome to join in. Coming soon to a journal section near you! Um, this one...

I’ve just looked Voyager has 7 seasons, you’re both going to cover every episode???? I remember the Chakotay character was a real pain in the butt.

Chakotay, Kim, Paris, Torres, Neelix, Neelix, Neelix, Janeway, all Kazons, Tuvok, Neelix, Neelix, Neelix and Neelix. Oh, I nearly forgot Neelix. Voyager was in fairness the only Trek show which had a plausible, relatively likable child character in Naomi Wildman. At least you didn't feel like punching her in the face every time she was onscreen...
