technical question! please help!
 

ok, so the last 2 days i couldn't get on mb, so i switched to a different service provider and i got on...but this one is much more expensive, the other one i use is a goverment funded student internet provider....i can open any other web page but this one...i can't figure out what the fuck is going on!!! anyone? please....

Thats wierd. Did you notice that any other sites don't work or just this one in particular? I would say they are blocking sites if its not just this one. If its only this site, I would say there is a problem between your ISP and MB, one which you probably cannot fix.

only musicbanter....i'm also on a movie forum and there was no problem...all other pages are working just fine, been surfing, amazon, nme everything is working...
i never had any problems before...just suddenly 2 days ago it tells me it cant find the site/dns error.....as soon as i switched providers i logged on....i have no idea what's going on....why mb? why not everything....just one site...?!

The same thing happened to me about the same time as you adidasss.
I usually get into mb via favorites, but then suddenly denied me access to the site.
Eventually I got in via google (maybe a different link) and since then everythings been ok, including access the old way through favorites.
Have you tried the old provider since?

yeah i just tried the old provider and i can log on now.....who knows if it'll last....i have no idea what was going on....i tried going through google like you to maybe find an alternative link because i also go through the favourites but it's basicaly the same....nothing was happening.....i'm just really curious what was the difference between the providers....and why only mb? i could understand if it was everything....
for a day i thought nothing of it..i just thought greg was doing some work on the page and it was offline ( it was telling me the page is currently unavailable )...but then i asked misfits if anyone else is having a problem logging on and he tells me no....i really got pissed of.....
