I have to admit, ignoring the severe limitations of being a religious wack job, at least their version of events is simple enough to follow. They don't bother with nebulas and explosions and gas clouds and comets and dust particles forming together over millions of years, it's simple. First there was nothing, then this fella came along and made stuff. Easy.

creation

of course "creation"

but come on, what makes the simplist answer always true? I wish I could think of a great simlie at this point, it would probly invole childhood misconceptions, like monstors and boegymen....

Oh, don't misunderstand me, I can't for the life of me believe in a God creating everything, but you have to admit, it is a lot easier to follow than the evolutionary process, geological changes, etc etc.

Occam's razor: Do not make undue Hypothesis' for the outcome is clouded by over complication. (paraphrased)

in other words the simplest solution is usually the correct one.

I didn't take the time to read through all of it but am i correct in assuming that these people support intelligent design?

Oh my yes they do. And they want it taught as science.

I believe that Intelligent Design by a creator that operates outside of our limited dimensions of space and time did indeed create the world.

but than again, i'm religious. how the world came into being isn't really what i care about, the fact that we are here is miracle in itself.
