The boogeymen from other cultures are scary as hell like Goatman and skin walkers.

Also I hated hearing stories from my family in the West Indies. Since it is a small island people would have to pass through cemeteries to get anywhere like school/work. Their ghost stories would **** you up.

haha your dad sounds awesome Carpe xD

I grew up in a religious household with a mother that assured me demons were very real and i shouldn't tease them like it's game, so i stayed away from all that stuff and ive always wondered if those ghost stories were real or if they just are scary games for laughs..

maybe its all the horror flicks ive seen but a part of me believes all that sh*t could be real, in fact i remember one time at the old apt i used to live i once felt a cold breath on the back of my neck that made me jump out of my chair but there was no one there!!

i also used to hear weird sounds at that apt, sounds of like an axe thrown my way and drawing closer, it was weird as hell..

Yeah I can relate to the religious upbringing and demons thing.

Horror movies that feature possessions and demons scare the crap out of me as an adult.

Me too man even as an agnostic adult i still fear all that demon crap, i remember when i saw stigmata i thought i would get a stigmata just from watching the damn movie.

i also remember my ex telling me how one time she was watching the exorcism of emily rose and weird stuff started happening around the apartment.

then she said we should watch it together sometime, apparently she learned nothing from her whole experience.

I love **** like this. It freaks me out but at the same time it's fascinating. My mom is Catholic (now only Christian) and she said the same thing about not stirring up demons or doing seances. She made me promise to never do one.

I spent half the night looking at that ****. The One-Man-Hide-and-Go-Seek is even worse. It includes an evil doll. Not much creepier than an evil doll. Even this story is creepier regardless of it being more obviously bull****. The comment section also made me never want to go to Japan.

It seems like it's a popular trend.
