Default Favourite Takeaways

For those times where you are super hungry and can't be ****ed cooking, what are your favourite takeaways?

I basically go between Chicken Kebab (Turkish)-Teryaki Chicken Sub(Subway)-Teryaki Salmon (Japanese).

Tonight I'm doing the Salmon, it's heaven.

Home| Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I always get a burger and a dog & take it home, while I'm waiting for my order they have free peanuts, I wolf those down until my number is called

The term 'curry' generally means South Asian food e.g. Indian, Pakistani & Bengali, or Anglo Asian cuisine here. You can get East Asian curries, Chinese takeaways do them too but they are nowhere near as popular (or as good imo), if a Brit says 'curry' they will mean the Indian/Pakistani/Bengali stuff, not Thai/Chinese etc.

I live in the Midlands (Birmingham), curry is very popular here cos there's a very large Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi community in the city, one of our regional dishes created here is the Balti.

Madras
Rogan Josh
Tikka Masala
Korma
Vindaloo
Biryani

^ As main courses these would all be popular choices (typically with a starter like onion bhajis, tandoori chicken, sheek kebab, keema naan etc).

Vindaloo in particular is just excellent and is a great dish to cook.

Indian. Every time, Indian.

My favorite used to be this Chinese food place that made these deep-fried tofu cubes. The breading on those things... it was so perfect. So crispy and airy at the same time. They had those layers of deliciousness like in croissants or a perfect pie crust. I've come close but I've yet to accomplish the same texture, I'm thinking they used rice flour but idk.

Who're you bitches kidding? When you don't feel like cooking you probably go to McDonald's just like everybody else.
