France.
I honestly found no difference in the food. But was thrown for a loop with there being booze served.

There is no way in hell that I am going to another country to eat the same **** I can at home. I avoid Mickey D's whenever I travel. What is the point? Do you hate your taste buds?
When in Rome! ****ing eat local cuisine.

Fully agree though, I have done it myself but I was drunk and on a night out in eastern Europe. Brits are probably the worst for this. Catch us in Spain speaking English in English bars eating pie and chips with a large beer (after pointing and shouting loudly & slowly 'I wanto el bigo beero' to order it). |

Definitely, not knocking the beer drinking, but in Spain I'd rather eat paella than a pie and take in their culture. Plus foreign versions of British food are usually shite anyway so not worth it.

Since I have so many allergies, it's so hard to find places with "safe" takeout, but What the Pho in Tukwila is so awesome. Rice noodles? Hell yeah. Vegetables? You bet your ass. Vegetarian broth? Oh fuck yeah. These people have it down to a perfect, safe, tasty science. And I love them for it.
(they even have raw tofu!!!)
