To skin or not to skin?
So I have naturally thin hair, and I have always looked as though I am thinning on top, but over the past year or so it seems as though I am actually balding. Do I keep my hair relatively long and wait till it's obviously just out of control, or do I embrace it and shave my head?
I kind of like how much easier my life would be if I just had a skin head, but I'm not sure I would suit it at all. As mentioned earlier, my hair is thin, meaning the surviving hairs wouldn't do much to cover my scalp. I have actually shaved it twice before, and I didn't completely hate it in terms of the head itself, but I was in a far less confident place than I am right now. I've lost weight and have much clearer skin, so maybe I could pull it off a little more? I dunno. I guess I am just going to keep my hair pretty long (for me at least) and shave it off when it becomes embarrassing.

The only thing you can do is shave your head. The one and only long term solution is to accept it and learn to work with it. It's just hair at the end of the day.
If you're going to do it, grow some facial hair as a shaved head with no stubble looks silly imo. |
