Those people were born hundreds of years ago. Since then their web-toed kiddies have carried on the family tradition.

And who wrote the Constitutiona? James. ****ing. Madison. Not only were Jamestown and Williamsburg our nation's capital at one point, not to mention that half of D.C. is here too, but Richmond was the capital of the Confederacy. Say about that what you will, but Virginia's importance to the history of America far outstrips your little podunk state.

What have you got? Awesome sandwiches and the iconic symbol of American independence, the Liberty bell.

The fact that a country with the vast majority of industry and population even allowed itself to be invaded by a largely agrarian one in the first place is more humiliating for them than us.

This dude on my Dad's side of the family flew through the in-law grey area like an arrow. He dated one woman and had a kid with her, broke up with her to go out with her sister and had a kid with her, then broke up with the sister to go finally settle down with their mother. The family calls him Daddyunclegrandpa and they all love him.
I don't make any attempts to understand the inner workings of my distant relatives.

The Batlord 06-10-2014 12:28 AM

I see you live in Tennessee.

Rjinn 06-10-2014 12:41 AM

I come from an ancient dynasty of marrying siblings.

My grandparents were apparently distant cousins.

So there.

Only if there's tongue, obviously

Goofle 06-17-2014 01:10 PM

Or if you got a boner during/after.

Your dad's actually doing you a favor

Mr. Charlie 06-18-2014 04:08 PM

I love incest. I really do. I'd go into more detail but them pesky mods will just give me more naughty points. But, yeah, love it.

I live in Georgia so scoring with your cousin for most people is just another day.

Just kidding.

or am I?

Mr. Charlie 06-19-2014 06:39 PM

On a serious note, why is incest always illegal? The law makes perfect sense when the woman is capable of producing children, but say a barren woman and man related to eachother are both above the age of consent and both wanna shag eachother, whose business is it but theirs? Not saying I'm into incest, it's weird if you ask me, but why should it be illegal when there's no chance of a third party (possible child) being hurt?

Laws regarding incest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's legal in a few countries, but whether the woman can bare children or not doesn't seem to factor. Weird.

Scarlett O'Hara 06-19-2014 09:07 PM

It's called birth defects.

hate paper doll 06-19-2014 09:24 PM

I said it before, but if it's consensual and there's no harm done or risk of pregnancy I give zero fucks. In instances like that laws against incest fall into the same category as sodomy laws, rather obsolete.

The Ascension 06-19-2014 09:32 PM

tfw you go to a family gathering on the side you haven't seen in forever and there's a 10/10 QT there you're not sure you're related to so the thoughts you're having might be totally ****ed

That actually happened to me once, but in my defense it wasn't just a family gathering, so it's not like I necessarily should have known we were related. Still felt skeezy though.

Yeah this happened to me like 2 weeks ago lirl

99% sure she wasn't related to me tho so I'm good

hate paper doll 06-19-2014 09:37 PM

As a teenager going to visit my stepmother's family was so awkward, everyone constantly teased me about my (step? I dunno if that's what you'd call it)cousin and the crush he had on me. So weird.

Last year at a funeral my brother came up to me and whispered "I really hope that chick's not related to us, she's hot as hell."

She was, and she was 14. Major lulz.
