Jans do you think that Alanis Morisette song actually has any irony in it? :P

Think the issue may not so much be my use of "irony" as you not understanding the context of the comment.

DwnWthVwls 05-21-2014 12:41 PM

How is that irony?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't mind. I just fail to see the irony of it.

No dissing here. Just an innocent poke.

How is one of MB's biggest and least funny trolls complaining about unfunny trolls not ironic?

I have found Butthead's trolling to be entertaining.

So what I got from your post is, irony = A funny troll saying he wishes other trolls were funny is ironic.

I think the problem is with our different sense of humor or I just haven't been here long enough to see all the terrible trolling he has done.

Also, blame Sansa. He told me to pick a fight with someone.

You also missed out on the fact that the comment from me was a follow-up to a previous comment I made to him. Like I indicated before, context is key.

But, hey, I agree with you about about the literally/figuratively thing.

A comment in another thread or private conversation or something? Because it's not included in that thread. I'm new here I'm bound to miss out on a lot of the inside jokes since this community apparently has a long history. The arguing has been fun.

Anywho, feel free to post more things people say that drive you batty..

Two of mine are: Supposably and Irregardless..

:D
