What Urban Dictionary Has To Say About Music Banter

Urban Dictionary: music banter

It seems reception to MB on Urban Dictionary is overwhelmingly positive. I mean, best place to discuss music? That's high praise right there. On the other hand, Urban Dictionary members tend to think the members on this forum are pretentious.

What do you think?

Accurate

At one point I believed that before posting here. My thought: I think Urban Dictionary members are probably just posting here too much. :finger:

What, this being the best place to discuss music, or the pretentiousness? Or both?

Black Francis 04-28-2014 04:54 PM

Well of course. What kind of idiot would create an entry for a forum they don't post in?

I don't see the big deal with right-track.

Alfred 04-28-2014 06:47 PM

I don't think this forum is that hostile or intimidating anymore.

Perhaps Right-Track wrote the definition.

Trollheart 04-28-2014 07:44 PM

Pretentious? Moi? :D

Trollheart 04-28-2014 07:47 PM

Also, "Sparkly Ween" should look to the mote in his or her own eye before laying down any criticism. Oh, the spelling! Fair makes one weep...

A forum filled with semi-pretentious peeps who know way more about music then you. They're awesome taste and lightning fast ability to criticize you will both fascinate and infuriate you. Possiply the best music community on the internet.

Eh, you either get bored or scared off, or you get used to how the dynamics work.

I wonder if anyone's going to pop into this thread just to say "Hey, I wrote that definition."
