Apples, which are currently in season, are expensive here. I believe I paid more than that for a 5lb bag. I picked everything up at the orchard. Like everything else, businesses are jacking some prices in order to make up for lost pandemic time.

My sandwich game is coming up but pastrami is too expensive but it sets a sandwich off so I'll just go broke.
