The doctor that hosts the Skeptics Guide to the Universe says that a lot of times things that make perfect sense don’t pan out under scientific scrutiny. I never gave things like that a second thought until I started listening to that podcast.

Love that podcast but the science behind nutrients necessary to fight deficiency is pretty solid (though not final, I get what you're driving at) and it's incredibly rare that any one food will have all of those vitamins and such so it just comes down to statistics really.

since some here are so interested in my diet... ill share what i just got back from the store

- 3 or 5 pounds bag of froze fruit (blueberries-blackberries-raspberries)
- 2 bags of fuji apples
- big bag of baby carrots.. that i plan to wash the chlorine wash before i eat

- bought a Bai tea too

all alkaline

i have the shakes too for 10 servings of veggies
